"If we adopt or use IVF, we're settling for less than God's best."
How it sounds in your head: People say 'just adopt' but that feels like giving up on a miracle. Or they say 'try IVF' but is that forcing something God hasn't given? Am I supposed to wait for supernatural conception, or is using science a lack of faith?
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
-- James 1:17Source: Religious false dichotomy between faith and action + super-spirituality that despises practical help.
When you're desperate for a miracle, any practical step feels like unbelief, and religious voices create pressure to prove faith by waiting passively instead of moving forward with wisdom.
Moses was adopted by Pharaoh's daughter—a 'backup plan' by human standards. Yet he became THE deliverer of Israel, spoke with God face-to-face, and wrote the first five books of the Bible, proving that adoption isn't second-tier; it's divine assignment.
I REFUSE the lie that adoption or medical help is less than God's best. IT IS WRITTEN that EVERY good gift comes from the Father. Moses was adopted and delivered a nation. Esther was adopted and saved a nation. Medical wisdom is from God. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed in all I do, and God directs my steps. Whether through biological conception, medical intervention, or adoption, my children are FROM THE FATHER and carry His purpose. I reject religious super-spirituality that despises practical action. I am led by the Spirit, and EVERY path to parenthood He opens is blessed.
The Father isn't judging you for considering adoption or IVF. He's the one who GIVES wisdom to doctors and places orphans in families, and He's ready to meet you in whatever path you take—biological, medical, or adoptive—because He's in the business of BUILDING FAMILIES, not testing your spiritual purity.
