"If I try to rush God's timing, I'll ruin His perfect plan and lose everything."
How it sounds in your head: You've heard the sermons—people who ran ahead of God and wrecked everything. Abraham and Hagar. Saul and the sacrifice. You can't afford to get this wrong. Better to wait too long than to move too soon and destroy what God was building.
"For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."
-- Philippians 2:13Religion—the fear-based teaching that frames believers as fumbling idiots constantly one mistake away from derailing God's sovereign plan.
You've seen people make impulsive decisions and crash. The stakes are too high now—you can't recover from major mistakes at this age like you could at thirty. Fear of missing God's timing paralyzes you.
Jacob literally LIED and DECEIVED his blind father to steal the blessing meant for Esau. When Isaac discovered the deception, he trembled violently—but declared, 'I have blessed him, and indeed he shall be blessed.' Wrong method, right outcome. The blessing couldn't be reversed even by fraud.
I REFUSE the lie that I can accidentally ruin God's plan. IT IS WRITTEN that it is God who works in me both to will and to do for His good pleasure. I am not powerful enough to override His sovereignty with my mistakes. IT IS WRITTEN that Jacob deceived his way into blessing and God made it stand. The BARAK blessing protected liars, deceivers, and murderers—not because of their behavior, but because of COVENANT. I am in the BETTER covenant, sealed by Jesus' blood. God's plan for my life is not fragile. He is bigger than my mistakes, and He's leading me even when I can't feel it.
The Father isn't nervously watching you, hoping you don't blow it—He's confidently working in you, causing you to will and to do His good pleasure. Your steps are ordered by Him, and even your missteps are covered by the blood.
