"If I tithe while in debt, I'm being irresponsible and God won't bless stupidity."
How it sounds in your head: Dave Ramsey says pay off debt first, then give. It seems dumb to give away money I owe to someone else. Wouldn't God want me to be responsible first? Tithing while broke feels like bad stewardship. Maybe giving is for when I have margin.
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it."

It logically makes sense to pay debts before giving. Adults reinforce 'be responsible first.' Giving while in debt feels financially reckless and irresponsible.
She had TWO COINS—literally all she had to live on. She didn't pay bills first, save first, or be 'responsible' first. She gave EVERYTHING, and Jesus said she gave more than the rich. Her trust was rewarded.
I REFUSE the lie that tithing requires financial margin first. IT IS WRITTEN to bring the tithe and TRY God in this—He will open heaven's windows. The widow gave her LAST two coins and Jesus praised her above the wealthy. Giving isn't irresponsible; it's the SEED that produces the harvest. IT IS WRITTEN that God loves a cheerful giver and supplies seed to the sower. The BARAK doesn't wait for surplus—it CREATES surplus. I give from CONNECTION to the Vine, and fruit comes automatically. I'm testing God's promise, not Dave Ramsey's math.
Your Father isn't waiting for you to balance your budget before you honor Him. He's waiting to blow your budget apart with blessing. Give the seed and watch Him multiply it beyond the debt—that's His pattern.
