"If I had their salary or their financial help from family, I'd be fine too."
How it sounds in your head: Of course she bought a condo—her parents gave her the down payment. Of course he travels—he got that promotion. If I had their advantages, I wouldn't be stressed about groceries and student loans. The playing field isn't level.
"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich."
-- 2 Corinthians 8:9Enemy: Blaming circumstances to hide the covenant BARAK that operates regardless of earthly advantages.
You genuinely see others with advantages you don't have—family wealth, higher income, fewer expenses. The math feels factual: they have more inputs, so more outputs.
After 400 years as SLAVES owning absolutely nothing, they asked Egyptians for gold and silver and the Lord gave them favor. They left with WEALTH in one night—no salary, no inheritance, just covenant favor.
I REFUSE the lie that their advantages explain their abundance and my lack. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus became POOR so I could become RICH through His poverty. My wealth comes from COVENANT, not circumstances. The BARAK blessing made penniless slaves wealthy in one night. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed in my storehouses and the Lord commands blessing on all I set my hand to. I don't need their salary—I have HIS SUPPLY. I don't need their family money—I have my FATHER'S inheritance. The exchange is already complete: His riches for my poverty. I receive it NOW.
The Father isn't waiting for your circumstances to improve before He blesses you—He's the God who gives MANNA IN THE WILDERNESS. While you're looking at their advantages, He's preparing spoils from Egypt: wealth transfer with no logical source, just favor.
