"If I had prayed more or been a better example, this wouldn't have happened."
How it sounds in your head: You remember the mornings you were too tired for family devotions, the times you snapped instead of shepherded, the Sundays you slept in. If you had just been more consistent, more patient, more spiritual—they'd still be walking with God. This is on you.
"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
-- Isaiah 55:11Religious lie that positions you as the Holy Spirit in your child's life, making their salvation dependent on your performance.
You can list every failure with photographic clarity while your child's Bible sits dusty on their shelf. The evidence feels irrefutable.
Jacob fled home as a lying, manipulating, deceiving thief who stole his brother's blessing through fraud. His mother Rebekah actually HELPED him deceive Isaac. Yet God met Jacob in the wilderness and said, 'I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back.' God didn't wait for perfect parenting to fulfill His promise.
I REFUSE the lie that my imperfections disqualified God's Word in my child's life. IT IS WRITTEN that God's Word does not return void—it WILL accomplish what He pleases, regardless of my performance. I was never the Holy Spirit; I was just the planter. IT IS WRITTEN that one plants, another waters, but GOD gives the increase. The BARAK blessing doesn't fail because I failed—it's based on covenant, not on my consistency. Every seed planted is still in the soil, and God is the one who brings the harvest. I declare those seeds are SPROUTING in the dark places I cannot see.
The Father wants you to know: Every stumbling word you spoke about Jesus, every imperfect prayer, every flawed example—none of it was wasted. You planted more truth than you remember, and He's been watering it in ways you can't see. Your child's story isn't over because yours wasn't perfect.
