How it sounds in your head: Other people get healed. I've seen testimonies. It must be my fault—I don't pray enough, don't believe hard enough. If I had REAL faith, this would be gone. I'm the problem. My weak faith is keeping me trapped.

He's heard sermons on 'mustard seed faith' and seen others healed. Comparing his experience to theirs makes him feel deficient. Well-meaning Christians imply 'if you just believed more...' which loads guilt onto suffering. His prayers haven't produced visible results, so it feels like his faith is the broken link.
Blind from birth, never seen light, no faith track record—disciples asked 'who sinned?' (implying someone's fault). Jesus said 'NEITHER'—it wasn't about sin or faith. Jesus spit, made mud, and the man obeyed by washing. IMMEDIATELY he saw. No faith speech required. The man didn't even know who Jesus was until AFTER the healing (v.35-36). Healing came from JESUS' POWER, not the man's faith.
I REFUSE the lie that my lack of faith is keeping me sick. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL who were sick—not just those with perfect faith. Healing is not my WORK to achieve; it's HIS FINISHED WORK to receive. My faith doesn't create healing; it CONNECTS me to what Jesus already purchased. IT IS WRITTEN that He TOOK my infirmities and BORE my sicknesses—past tense, done deal. I stop striving and start RESTING in the finished work. The BARAK blessing wasn't based on Abraham's perfect belief—he doubted, lied, laughed—but the blessing stood because of COVENANT. I am in a BETTER covenant through Jesus' blood. I am healed, whole, and FREE—not by my effort but by HIS GRACE.
The Father isn't measuring your faith on a scale and withholding healing until you hit the quota—He's already given EVERYTHING through Jesus. Your job isn't to muster up more belief; it's to REST in what's already FINISHED. He's not disappointed in you; He's PLEASED with His Son, and you're IN HIM.
