"If I get money young, I'll blow it like everyone in my family does."
How it sounds in your head: You've seen it—tax returns gone in a week on stupid stuff, lottery winnings disappear, bonuses spent before the check clears. Your uncle got insurance money and bought jet skis instead of fixing his house. Money in your family equals bad decisions. Maybe you're wired the same way. Maybe it's safer to never have much.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
-- 2 Corinthians 5:17Enemy projects family patterns onto your identity to keep you from financial blessing.
The pattern is proven across multiple family members. It's not just bad luck—there's clearly something broken in how your family handles money. You carry the same DNA and grew up in the same dysfunction.
Solomon became king young and asked for wisdom instead of wealth. God gave him both—unprecedented wisdom AND riches and honor beyond any king. He didn't blow it; he built the temple and became legendary for wise wealth management.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm destined to mismanage money like my family. IT IS WRITTEN that I am a NEW CREATION in Christ—old patterns passed away. I don't carry family dysfunction; I carry the mind of Christ and divine wisdom. IT IS WRITTEN that if I lack wisdom, I ask God who gives generously without finding fault. The same Spirit that gave Solomon supernatural wealth management lives in me. The BARAK blessing includes wisdom to steward what God provides. I am not my family's patterns—I am God's son with Kingdom inheritance and Kingdom wisdom to manage it.
Your Father doesn't give you wealth and hope you figure it out—He runs toward you with the blessing AND the wisdom to steward it. He's not waiting for you to prove responsibility first; He's making you responsible as He blesses you.
