"If God wanted to heal you, it would have happened by now—maybe it's not His will."
How it sounds in your head: You've prayed for months and nothing changed. If God really wanted to heal you, wouldn't it have happened already? Maybe this condition is His will for your life and you need to accept it. Other people get healed, but apparently not you.
"And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, 'Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.' Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, 'I am willing; be cleansed.' Immediately his leprosy was cleansed."
-- Matthew 8:2-3Source: Religious teaching that makes God's will unknowable and His goodness questionable, contradicting Jesus' revelation of the Father.
Time has passed without visible change, and well-meaning Christians have suggested maybe healing isn't God's will for you. You're tired of hoping and getting disappointed, and acceptance feels like peace.
Dead for FOUR DAYS, body decomposing, sisters said 'he stinks,' everyone had given up hope and moved to grief management. Jesus spoke ONE WORD—'Lazarus, come forth!'—and INSTANT resurrection, proving that what seems too late is never beyond God's NOW power.
I REFUSE the lie that delay means denial or that God's will for me is sickness. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus said 'I AM WILLING' when asked if He would heal—His will is ALWAYS yes. Time doesn't change His nature; He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Peter 2:24 that by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, already done at the cross 2,000 years ago. I am under the BARAK blessing where Abraham was protected even when he lied—the blessing isn't based on my timeline but on God's covenant faithfulness. Breakthrough can be INSTANT, even after years of waiting. I am a branch connected to the Vine, and healing flows when I abide, not when I've waited long enough to earn it. I HAVE the petition because it's according to His will.
The Father isn't waiting for the right moment when you've suffered enough—He's already running toward you with healing, the robe, the ring, and the party. Lazarus was dead four days and Jesus STILL raised him; what seems too late to you is just another opportunity for God to show His goodness NOW.
