"If God wanted me wealthy, He would have done it by now—He must want me poor."
How it sounds in your head: I've prayed, tithed, believed. If prosperity was in His plan for me, wouldn't I have seen it by now? Maybe poverty is my assignment, my thorn in the flesh, my cross to bear.

Decades of faithful church attendance and financial struggle have created the narrative that God's will for him must be poverty. Religious teaching about 'contentment' reinforces this resignation.
During famine, she had one meal's worth of flour and oil left before starvation. Elijah asked her to feed him first. Her obedience triggered supernatural provision—flour and oil didn't run out for the duration of the famine, instant shift from starvation to abundance.
I REFUSE the lie that God wants me poor. IT IS WRITTEN: It is the Father's good pleasure to give me the kingdom, and He desires I prosper in ALL things. Jesus came to give abundant life, not poverty. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, walking in uprightness by HIS work. The blessing of Abraham is mine, and that blessing made him extremely wealthy. Poverty is not my assignment; PROSPERITY is my inheritance.
The Father isn't withholding wealth to build your character—He's waiting for the moment when the release will be so sudden and complete that only He gets the glory. He delights in your prosperity.
