"If God wanted me debt-free, He wouldn't have let me lose everything at this age."
How it sounds in your head: Where was God when you made the investments? When the medical bills came? When the market crashed? He watched you sink and did nothing. This debt is your lot—He's decided you'll die owing.
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
-- John 10:10Theological lie blaming God for enemy's theft; makes Father the author of financial ruin instead of the Restorer and Redeemer.
The timing and magnitude of loss feels too targeted to be random, and he interprets God's apparent non-intervention as divine will rather than enemy attack.
Lost everything—wealth, children, health—and religious friends blamed him. God eventually revealed the enemy was behind the attack, and God RESTORED double what was lost: twice the livestock, ten more children, 140 more years.
I REFUSE the lie that God authored my financial loss or wants me to die in debt. IT IS WRITTEN: 'The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it MORE ABUNDANTLY.' My debt is the enemy's theft, not God's will. IT IS WRITTEN: 'Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights.' Loss isn't from Him. He is the RESTORER who gives back double—Job proves it. The BARAK blessing is mine through Christ, and that blessing includes being 'blessed in the city and blessed in the field, blessed coming in and blessed going out.' I am ABRAHAM'S SEED, and God is running toward me with RESTORATION, not resignation to debt.
The Father isn't orchestrating your loss—He's running toward you with the oil that never runs out, ready to pay ALL your debt and leave you with surplus, just like the widow whose creditor was at the door.
