"I worshiped Satan directly in my youth and God won't forgive that."
How it sounds in your head: I didn't just dabble—I WORSHIPED the enemy. I bowed to Satan, praised him, dedicated myself to him. That's unforgivable, isn't it?
"This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life."
-- 1 Timothy 1:15-16Religious hierarchy of sin that places Satan worship beyond grace's reach.
He remembers the intentionality of his rebellion and assumes direct Satan worship crosses a line even the cross can't cover. The weight feels unbearable.
He breathed threats and murder against disciples, dragged believers to prison, consented to Stephen's stoning, and destroyed the church. Yet Jesus appeared to him on the Damascus road, and within THREE DAYS he was baptized, filled with the Spirit, and preaching Christ—instant transformation from persecutor to apostle.
I REFUSE the lie that Satan worship is unforgivable. IT IS WRITTEN that Christ came to save sinners, of whom Paul was CHIEF, yet he obtained mercy as a PATTERN for all believers. Paul murdered Christians with religious zeal; I worshiped Satan in youthful rebellion—both are covered by the SAME blood. IT IS WRITTEN that where sin abounded, grace abounded MUCH MORE. My worst worship doesn't exceed His best mercy. The BARAK blessing doesn't flow to me because I was good but because Christ was perfect. I am forgiven, accepted, and heaven-bound—not despite Satan worship, but because the cross COVERS Satan worship. Three days after Damascus, Paul was baptized. Seconds after belief, I was saved.
The Father doesn't categorize sins into forgivable and unforgivable—He sees them all as COVERED. You worshiped the wrong king, but you've been transferred into the RIGHT kingdom, and there's no sin too dark for His light to obliterate.
