"I wasted my strength on the wrong things and now have nothing left."
How it sounds in your head: You poured your energy into work that didn't matter, relationships that failed, pursuits that led nowhere. Now you're exhausted, weak, depleted—and you have nothing to show for all that expended strength. You used it all up on the wrong things.
"He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength."
-- Isaiah 40:29Performance measurement that counts human achievement instead of covenant position, making you evaluate life like a balance sheet rather than a grace gift.
His body is weak now where it was once strong. The things he worked so hard to build feel insignificant or gone. His energy is limited and he feels he squandered it when he had it in abundance.
Samson literally WASTED his God-given strength on the wrong woman, lost his eyes, his freedom, his anointing—completely depleted. In his final moment, God RENEWED his strength and he accomplished more in his death than in his entire compromised life.
I REFUSE the lie that I wasted my strength with nothing left. IT IS WRITTEN that He gives power to the weak and to those with no might He INCREASES strength. My current weakness is not evidence of wasted past—it's the SETUP for God's power made perfect. IT IS WRITTEN that those who wait on the Lord shall RENEW their strength—not maintain what's left, but RENEW what's depleted. Like Samson who wasted his strength but God restored it for his greatest victory, my Father RENEWS, RESTORES, REFILLS. The BARAK blessing doesn't run out when my natural strength does.
Your Father doesn't see squandered strength—He sees a son positioned for RENEWED strength. Right now He's not disappointed in what you spent; He's ready to REFILL what's empty, giving you eagles' wings for this exact season.
