How it sounds in your head: You should have finished school, gotten the degrees, built expertise. Now others have PhDs, certifications, years of specialized training. You're self-taught with gaps. They have credentials - you have excuses. The learning window closed and you can't compete with people who invested in proper education.

Job postings require degrees he doesn't have. Others have letters after names. He's been learning piecemeal - books, YouTube, trial and error. No transcript to prove competence. Industry respects credentials.
Amos had zero credentials - 'I was no prophet, nor son of prophet, but a SHEEPBREEDER and tender of sycamore fruit.' No training, no lineage, no formal education. God said 'GO, prophesy' and he became major prophet whose book is still studied 2,800 years later.
I REFUSE the lie that lack of formal credentials disqualifies me or that I'm behind those with degrees. IT IS WRITTEN that God CHOSE the foolish to shame the wise - the educated missed Jesus while fishermen built His church. Peter and John were 'unlearned' but had BEEN WITH JESUS - relationship trumps resume. Amos was a fig farmer who became major prophet. My unconventional education is not deficit - it's DISTINCTION. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus is MADE unto me wisdom - I don't need letters after my name when I have His NAME. The BARAK blessing on my life opens doors no credential can open. I am not competing with degrees - I am walking in ANOINTING that makes up for any lack and exceeds every advantage.
The Father isn't impressed by degrees - He chose fishermen over Pharisees. The prodigal came back with no credentials, no achievements, smelling like pigs - and the Father gave him a ROBE of authority that no university grants. Your street education is VALUABLE because it taught you things ivory towers never could. God's about to validate what no institution would.
