You've spent your life trying to compensate for being the wrong sex, knowing you could never fix the fundamental disappointment of not being what they wanted.

She's a woman in her forties who has lived with gender-based disappointment, dismissal, and limitation her entire life. She's felt the weight of 'carrying on the family name' issues, inheritance disparities, and the subtle (or overt) message that her gender made her less valuable.
In a culture that wanted male leaders, God raised up a WOMAN as judge over all Israel. Kings and generals came to HER for wisdom. When the military commander Barak wouldn't go to battle without her, she led Israel to victory. Being female didn't disqualify her—God CHOSE her specifically, and her gender never limited Heaven's assignment.
I REFUSE the lie that my gender makes me a disappointment. IT IS WRITTEN that in Christ there is neither male nor female—we are ONE, equally valued, equally loved. The Father wasn't disappointed when you arrived female—He was DELIGHTED. He wasn't scrambling to adjust His plans around your 'wrong' gender. He made you female ON PURPOSE, with intention, with pleasure, knowing exactly what He was creating and calling it VERY GOOD before you took your first breath.
