"I started saving too late and now I'm paying for my foolishness"
How it sounds in your head: If only I'd been wiser when I was younger. I should have saved more, invested better, planned ahead. Now it's too late and I'm reaping what I sowed - lack, worry, and regret.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Religion says you reap what you sow as karma, but grace says the CROSS interrupted that equation
Financial advisors show charts of compound interest over decades. Every missed opportunity haunts. The younger generation seems more prepared and it highlights every poor decision made.
Demanded inheritance early, WASTED it ALL on wild living, ended up feeding pigs. When he came home broke and broken, the Father RAN to him, gave him ring (authority), robe (identity), sandals (sonship), and threw a party. Full restoration in 15 minutes, not 15 years.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm paying for past foolishness! IT IS WRITTEN: God will RESTORE the years the locusts have eaten! I don't live under 'reap what you sow' karma - I live under GRACE! Christ took the curse so I could walk in the BLESSING OF ABRAHAM. The prodigal wasted EVERYTHING and got instant restoration. IT IS WRITTEN: There is NO condemnation to those in Christ! My Father doesn't punish my past - He RESTORES my future! The BARAK blessing isn't based on my wisdom, it's based on HIS COVENANT!
The Father didn't wait for the prodigal to 'prove himself' or 'earn it back' - He RAN while the son still smelled like pigs. Your financial past doesn't disqualify you from His present provision. He's the God of SUDDEN restoration, not slow penance.
