"I should sell everything and move to a compound because society is collapsing completely."
How it sounds in your head: Cities will be warzones. The grid will fail. I need to escape to the woods, stockpile beans, and wait it out. Staying engaged with normal life is naïve when collapse is coming.
"No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling."
-- Psalm 91:10Source: Enemy fear disguised as preparedness, turning survival instinct into isolation that removes you from Kingdom assignment and influence in the very places God positioned you.
Preppers online make compelling cases. Infrastructure does feel fragile. If you're not preparing for total collapse, you're a sheep. Feels irresponsible NOT to have an escape plan when everything seems one crisis from chaos.
While Egypt was DESTROYED by plagues—flies, boils, hail, darkness, death—the Israelites in GOSHEN experienced ZERO plagues. Same country, different covenant. God made a DIVISION between Egypt and His people. They didn't flee to safety; COVENANT made them safe IN PLACE.
I REFUSE the lie that I need a compound to survive. IT IS WRITTEN that no evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling—my safety is COVENANT, not location. The enemy wants me fleeing like Egypt had no Goshen, but I DWELL in the secret place of the Most High where plagues CANNOT reach. IT IS WRITTEN that God commands His angels concerning me to keep me in ALL my ways (Psalm 91:11). I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK protected Jacob's family during FAMINE without them fleeing civilization. I stay, shine, and influence because my Father is my FORTRESS wherever He assigns me.
Your Father isn't panicking trying to figure out where to hide you during collapse—He's the same God who made a DIVISION in Goshen, and He's fully capable of making your dwelling plague-proof right where you are. He's running toward you saying 'Stay where I planted you, daughter—I didn't put you there to evacuate; I put you there to SHINE when everything else goes dark.'
