"I should have listened to the warnings. This loss proves I can't make good decisions."
How it sounds in your head: Everyone said crypto was risky and I ignored them. I'm impulsive and irresponsible. I can't trust myself with money anymore. I need someone else to make decisions for me.
"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
-- Isaiah 43:18-19Religious spirit of condemnation masquerading as wisdom, attacking her confidence.
The warnings literally came true, and now those same people are giving 'I told you so' looks. The evidence seems to confirm she has bad judgment.
Abraham lied to Pharaoh, calling his wife his sister to save himself—terrible, fearful decision. God plagued Pharaoh to protect Abraham the liar, and Abraham left Egypt RICHER than he entered.
I REFUSE the lie that one bad decision disqualifies me from God's guidance. IT IS WRITTEN to not remember former things because God is doing a NEW thing NOW. I am not defined by my investment loss; I am defined by being IN CHRIST. IT IS WRITTEN that He directs the paths of those who trust Him, and that promise isn't based on my track record. Abraham lied and God still blessed him. Jacob deceived and God still called him Israel. The BARAK blessing protected liars and deceivers; how much more does Christ's blood cover my mistakes? I trust God's direction over my past decisions.
The Father isn't waiting for you to prove you can make good decisions before He guides you again. He's saying 'Behold, NEW thing, NOW'—present tense, immediate, regardless of yesterday's choice.
