"I should have done more—I wasted so much time on things that didn't matter."
How it sounds in your head: You look back and see all the time you spent on trivial things—worry, fear, petty conflicts. You wish you'd prayed more, loved better, worried less. You feel like you squandered your one chance at life and now it's too late to fix it.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."
-- Romans 8:1Enemy bringing condemnation at life's end—making her focus on regret instead of GRACE that covers it all.
She remembers years lost to anxiety, relationships damaged by pride, opportunities missed by fear. The enemy replays her failures on a loop, and she can't go back and change any of it.
Peter had DENIED Jesus three times, abandoning Him at His darkest hour—the ultimate failure. Jesus' response? Restored him COMPLETELY, gave him the assignment to feed His sheep, and built the entire early church on this 'failure's' leadership.
I REFUSE the lie that I wasted my life or that regret defines me. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NOW no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus—not 'some' condemnation, not 'condemnation for failures,' but NONE. Every wasted moment, every failure, every regret—it's all covered by the blood of Jesus. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 43:25 that God blots out my transgressions and REMEMBERS my sins no more. If HE doesn't remember them, I have no right to hold them against myself. I declare that my life is NOT defined by what I failed to do but by what CHRIST DID. I am righteous, complete, and loved—not because I did enough but because HE is ENOUGH.
The Father isn't reviewing your life with a scorecard—He's celebrating that you're HIS. Like the prodigal who wasted EVERYTHING and got a party anyway, you are not defined by your regrets but by His RELENTLESS GRACE.
