"I should have built more connections. This unemployment is my fault for not networking."
How it sounds in your head: Everyone says it's about who you know. You should have gone to more events, sent more emails, worked LinkedIn harder. If you'd been better at relationships, you wouldn't be here. You're paying for your introversion, your independence, your failure to play the game.
"For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another."
-- Psalm 75:6-7World system: makes provision about human connection instead of divine connection, shifting trust from Father to networking.
You see others getting jobs through connections while your applications disappear into voids. People with half your skill but better networks are employed. The 'who you know' mantra is proving true.
Ruth was a poor foreign widow with ZERO connections in Israel. She 'just happened' to glean in Boaz's field - divine setup, not networking strategy. One day of being in the right place God ordained made her wealthy and grafted her into Messiah's line.
I REFUSE the lie that my provision depends on networking. IT IS WRITTEN that exaltation comes from GOD, not from east, west, or LinkedIn. My gift makes room for me - I don't make room for my gift through connections. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out, that favor surrounds me like a shield. The BARAK doesn't require a contact list. Like Ruth, I 'just happen' into divine appointments because my Father is ORCHESTRATING my steps. My provision is not in human hands - it's in the hand of the God who exalts.
Your Father doesn't need your network. He IS the network. He's already arranging the 'just happened to' moment, the divine appointment, the connection you never could have manufactured - and He's bringing it to your field.
