"I should have been a better provider all those years."
How it sounds in your head: You're looking back at lean years, missed opportunities, financial struggles. Your family deserved better. A real man would have provided more. The scorecard of your provision is final now and it's lacking.
"My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Religion's provider-performance identity - makes manhood about earnings instead of covenant position.
Bank statements don't lie. You remember specific times you couldn't provide what was needed. Other men left bigger estates. Tangible evidence of provision gaps.
Abraham lied about Sarah being his wife to protect himself - pure cowardice. God plagued Pharaoh to defend Abraham the liar and sent him away RICHER with livestock, silver and gold.
I REFUSE the lie that my provision defined my manhood. IT IS WRITTEN that God supplies all needs according to HIS riches, not mine. I was never the source - I was the BRANCH connected to the Vine. Every provision that came through me was HIS supply flowing through connection. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:13-14 that Christ redeemed me from the curse so Abraham's blessing is mine. The BARAK protected Abraham even when he LIED - it protects me completely. I am blessed coming in and going out, in city and field, and my storehouses are commanded to be blessed.
The Father never graded your provision performance - He was Jehovah Jireh providing THROUGH you. He's not disappointed in gaps; He's celebrating every moment you trusted Him as Source.
