"I should be suffering financially because I wasted opportunities. I deserve this struggle."
How it sounds in your head: I had chances other guys didn't get - scholarships, inheritance, opportunities. I blew them on stupid stuff. Now I'm paying the price. This is justice. I deserve to struggle while others prosper.
"Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt."
-- Matthew 18:27Religion teaching that financial struggle is divine punishment for past waste - karma disguised as Christianity.
You literally wasted money that others would have stewarded better. Your current struggle feels like proportional consequence. Christian financial teachers say God disciplines through lack.
They were SLAVES who owned NOTHING after 400 years of oppression. In ONE NIGHT, God gave them favor and they left Egypt with gold, silver, and clothing from their oppressors. Instant wealth transfer with zero preparation time.
I REFUSE the lie that I deserve financial suffering for past waste. IT IS WRITTEN that the servant with BILLIONS in debt received TOTAL FORGIVENESS in one moment, not a punishment plan. My God is moved by COMPASSION, not karma. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:13 that Christ REDEEMED me from the curse - poverty, lack, and struggle are part of that curse. I am Abraham's seed and the BARAK blessing is mine by COVENANT, not behavior. That blessing protected wasteful sons - it COVERS me. I walk in Deuteronomy 28 BLESSINGS: blessed coming in, blessed going out, head not tail, above not beneath. Supernatural provision is my BIRTHRIGHT in Christ.
Your Father isn't calculating what you deserve - He already gave you what you DON'T deserve: total forgiveness, righteousness as a gift, and every spiritual blessing. The pig pen smell doesn't disqualify you from the feast.
