"I should be grateful for any opportunity since people like me don't usually get them."
How it sounds in your head: When you got into the gifted program, they said 'diversity pick.' When you got the scholarship, 'affirmative action.' You should just be grateful you're here at all. Don't ask for more, don't expect respect—just be thankful for scraps.
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
-- Ephesians 3:20Enemy using false humility to keep her from the ABUNDANCE the Father prepared through tokenization.
People literally HAVE said these things to minimize her achievements. She's been made to feel like an exception that proves the rule, lucky to be included at all.
A foreign widow during famine with only one meal left before starvation—literally the bottom of society. Elijah asked for her last bit of food. She gave it, and INSTANTLY her jar of flour and jug of oil never ran empty for YEARS—from one meal to supernatural abundance overnight.
I REFUSE the lie that I should settle for scraps and call it gratitude. IT IS WRITTEN that God is able to do EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY above all I ask or think. I am not a token; I am a daughter of the King, heir to the BARAK blessing. IT IS WRITTEN that I can ask ANYTHING in Jesus' name and He will do it. Gratitude doesn't mean accepting less than God's abundance—it means receiving His MORE. I expect the fattened calf, the best robe, the family ring. That's not arrogance; that's knowing my Father.
The Father isn't giving you a 'diversity opportunity' that you should feel lucky to have—He's opening doors you didn't even know existed because you're His DAUGHTER, not His charity case. He specializes in exceedingly abundantly above, not barely enough.
