"I should accept this debt as God's will and just be content with lack in my final days."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe this is just my lot. I need to stop wanting more and be grateful for what I have. Contentment means accepting debt and poverty as God's plan for me. Fighting for breakthrough at my age is probably just greed.
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
-- John 10:10Religion: The twisted teaching that poverty is God's will and contentment means resignation to lack instead of rest in His provision.
She's been taught that wanting provision is unspiritual and that true faith means accepting whatever circumstances exist as "God's will." Decades of religious conditioning have equated struggle with sanctification.
Facing three massive armies with no natural solution, Jehoshaphat worshiped instead of resigned himself to defeat. God caused the enemies to kill EACH OTHER, and it took THREE DAYS to gather all the plunder—instant, overwhelming victory without lifting a sword.
I REFUSE the lie that debt is God's will for me. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus came to give me ABUNDANT life (John 10:10)—the thief comes to steal, and debt is THEFT, not divine plan. True contentment is resting in His provision, not resigning to lack. IT IS WRITTEN that Christ redeemed me from the CURSE of poverty (Galatians 3:13). The BARAK blessing is mine by covenant—blessed in the city, blessed in the field, the head and not the tail. I declare ABUNDANT PROVISION as my birthright. I will NOT call the curse "God's will." I am daughter of the King, and ABUNDANCE is my inheritance.
Your Father isn't asking you to accept debt—He's the God who PLUNDERED enemies for Jehoshaphat without a battle and fed Israel manna for forty years. Contentment isn't resignation; it's confidence that your Provider never fails, and breakthrough is always one word away.
