Purity retreats taught her she's a chewed-up piece of gum. She sees 'modest is hottest' posts and feels disqualified. The images exist on someone's phone, creating permanent evidence of her 'damage.'
This woman had FIVE HUSBANDS and was currently living with a man who wasn't her husband—known sexual scandal in her small town. Jesus didn't mention purity culture or make her wait to prove herself. He offered her LIVING WATER immediately and made her the FIRST EVANGELIST to her entire city that same afternoon.
I REFUSE the lie that my sexual past disqualifies me from God's best. IT IS WRITTEN that as far as the east is from the west, God has removed my transgressions—those images are not in His memory. I am not damaged goods; I am washed WHITE AS SNOW, a virgin bride in Christ. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:1 there is NO condemnation for those in Christ Jesus—not some condemnation, not condemnation until I prove myself, ZERO. The BARAK blessing doesn't depend on my sexual history; it protected Jacob the deceiver and Judah who slept with his daughter-in-law, yet stayed in Jesus' bloodline. I am WHOLLY PURE in Christ.
The Father isn't checking your photo history or waiting for you to earn back your 'purity.' He's running toward you with the ROBE that covers everything and the RING that declares you His bride—spotless, radiant, without wrinkle or blemish in His eyes right NOW.
