"I need to protect my assets in case this marriage doesn't survive their financial chaos."
How it sounds in your head: You're watching friends divorce and lose half of everything. Your spouse's financial recklessness could sink you both. The attorney says a postnuptial agreement is wise. It's not about leaving—it's about being smart. Protecting yourself isn't lack of faith; it's stewardship. You've worked too hard to let their issues destroy you.
"And the two shall become one flesh; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."
-- Mark 10:8-9Enemy's fear-driven 'wisdom' that uses worldly protection strategies to undermine covenant faith and block breakthrough.
Divorce statistics are real. Half your friends are split. Their spending patterns are documented fact. Every financial advisor recommends protecting assets. This isn't paranoia; it's prudence based on observable behavior and legal reality.
Facing execution by fire for refusing to bow, they didn't negotiate exit strategies or personal protections. They went into the furnace TOGETHER, fully committed, and the fire burned zero percent of them—not even the smell of smoke. The fourth man showed up IN the fire, not after they protected themselves. Unity in crisis brings God's presence.
I REFUSE the lie that I need legal protection from the person God made me one flesh with. IT IS WRITTEN that the two become ONE, and what God joined man should not separate—including through postnuptial agreements that divide on paper what covenant joined in Spirit. The enemy wants me operating in fear-based protection while God is calling me to faith-based unity. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 4:19 that God shall supply ALL my need according to His riches in glory—not according to my protected assets or legal safety nets. The BARAK blessing doesn't require a backup plan. Abraham trusted God in foreign lands without prenuptial livestock agreements. The three Hebrew boys walked into fire TOGETHER without exit strategies and came out untouched. I choose covenant over protection. The Father meets me IN the chaos, not after I've insulated myself from it.
The Father sees your fear of losing everything and He's whispering that the only thing you'll lose by trusting covenant is the false security of divided assets—He's about to show you that the two of you together, fully exposed in unity, are the exact position where He floods you with abundance that makes your protected accounts look like lunch money. He's the fourth man in your financial furnace.
