THE LIE Dating Hopelessness

"I keep attracting broken women. Something is wrong with me."

How it sounds in your head: Every woman you date has major baggage—daddy issues, ex drama, financial chaos. You think maybe you're only attracting what you deserve. Maybe healthy women can sense you're not good enough. Maybe this is as good as it gets for a guy like you.

IT IS WRITTEN 2 Corinthians 5:17

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

Enemy whispers: You attract dysfunction because you ARE dysfunction. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: 2 Corinthians 5:17 - 'If anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.' You are NOT the sum of past relationship failures. In Christ, you are COMPLETELY NEW. Past patterns have ZERO authority over your future. You don't attract based on wounds—you attract based on IDENTITY, and your identity is RIGHTEOUS.

Quick Truth: LIE: You attract broken women. TRUTH: In Christ you're a NEW creation. Old patterns are dead. (2 Cor 5:17)

WHERE THIS LIE COMES FROM

Religion taught that attraction patterns reveal hidden sin or unworthiness instead of pointing to Christ's finished work.

Why this feels true:

The pattern is undeniable. Three relationships, three disasters. You start wondering if YOU'RE the common denominator, if something broken in you attracts broken.

Boaz was a wealthy, established man who could've had anyone, yet God gave him Ruth—a poor, foreign widow with complicated history. She wasn't broken, she was a GIFT, and their union produced the line of King David and Jesus.

I REFUSE the lie that I attract what I deserve. IT IS WRITTEN that I am a NEW CREATION—old patterns are DEAD. I don't operate under curses of dysfunction. IT IS WRITTEN that God withholds NO good thing from me. The BARAK blessing on my life draws covenant connections, not chaos. I am the HEAD and not the TAIL. The right woman recognizes righteousness because I CARRY IT as a gift, not an achievement.
