"I have to work twice as hard to get half the recognition because of systemic bias."
How it sounds in your head: You see mediocre white men promoted while you're still proving yourself. You watch women with connections skip ahead while you're grinding in obscurity. You know the statistics—the pay gap, the glass ceiling, the invisible barriers. You're exhausted from overperforming just to be considered equal. And the church says nothing.
"Instead of bronze I will bring gold, instead of iron I will bring silver, instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. I will also make your officers peace, and your magistrates righteousness."
-- Isaiah 60:17Enemy strategy to make you define yourself by broken systems rather than covenant promises, turning God's blessing into an equation based on human fairness.
Because it's statistically, historically, experientially TRUE in human systems. The data backs it up. Your exhaustion is real. The pattern is undeniable. You're not imagining it.
Daniel was a captive, a foreigner, an ethnic minority in Babylon. Yet he 'distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm'—not because he worked twice as hard, but because God's favor was on him.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm subject to systemic limitations. IT IS WRITTEN that instead of bronze God brings me gold, instead of iron He brings silver. I am not grinding for scraps—I am walking in the BARAK blessing that commands favor and opens doors no man can shut. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. The same God who promoted Joseph, Daniel, and Esther—all ethnic minorities in foreign systems—is promoting me. My recognition does not come from human systems; it comes from divine FAVOR. No glass ceiling is stronger than the blessing of Abraham that rests on me in Christ Jesus.
The Father isn't asking you to work harder to earn what's already yours by covenant. He's running toward you with gold while others are celebrating bronze, saying, 'You're not climbing their ladder—you're seated with Me in heavenly places, far above all.'
