"I have to work for what others were simply given, and that's just my lot."
How it sounds in your head: You watch others receive through inheritance what you have to build from nothing. It feels like you're playing life on hard mode while others started with cheat codes, and you tell yourself that's just how it is for you.
"Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good? So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen."
-- Matthew 20:15-16The world system says some people are born lucky and others must grind—this is presented as unchangeable reality.
The disparity is measurable—others had college paid for, down payments gifted, opportunities handed over. Your starting line is objectively further back.
Workers hired at 5 PM, who worked only one hour, received the FULL day's wage—the same as those who worked since 6 AM in the heat. The master gave generously based on his goodness, not their hours.
I REFUSE the lie that my starting point determines my ending. IT IS WRITTEN that the last shall be first and God is generous beyond measure of work. I am not under a merit system—I'm under GRACE, which gives full wages for showing up. IT IS WRITTEN that I am Abraham's seed and heir according to PROMISE, and the BARAK blessing doesn't calculate hours worked. My Father delights in giving me the Kingdom. I receive as GIFT what others earned or inherited, because that's the scandal of grace.
Your Father is about to hand you in ONE MOMENT what others spent years building, because that's who He is. He's the God who gave the Israelites houses they didn't build and vineyards they didn't plant—instant inheritance is His specialty.
