THE LIE Imposter Syndrome
"I got this position because of who I knew, not what I knew. It's nepotism dressed up as merit."

How it sounds in your head: The honest truth is, you got your break because someone vouched for you, opened a door, made a call. Others with better qualifications were passed over. Deep down, you know you didn't win the job on pure merit—you won it because of relationships, connections, maybe even favoritism. That makes it feel illegitimate.

Esther became QUEEN through relational positioning—selected because of beauty and timing, not credentials. That wasn't nepotism; it was DIVINE SETUP. God USES relationships to position you. Your connections aren't shortcuts around merit—they're proof of FAVOR. The barak operates through open doors, and God who opens doors doesn't ask permission from merit systems.

You can trace the exact relationship that opened the door—the introduction, the recommendation, the insider advantage. Without that connection, you likely wouldn't have gotten the opportunity, and that feels like cheating compared to those who 'earned' it the hard way.

Esther became queen not through credentials, education, or qualifications, but through beauty and being in the right place at the right time—relationships and positioning. No one accused her of illegitimacy when she saved an entire nation using that 'unearned' position.

While you're ashamed of the 'inside connection,' He's running toward you saying, 'I ARRANGED that introduction, orchestrated that favor, opened that door because I WANTED YOU THERE.' Your position is no accident.
