"I gave everything to ministry and now I have nothing left for myself or my future."
How it sounds in your head: You poured years into youth ministry, skipped college opportunities, ignored your own dreams. Now you're 18 and everyone moved on while you're just... empty. You sacrificed everything and got burned out in return.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."
-- Joel 2:25Religion: The lie that God takes and takes until you're a husk, rather than being the Father who GIVES and RESTORES abundantly.
You look at your life and see what you gave up—relationships, experiences, personal goals. The tank is empty and the applause stopped. It feels like you traded your future for nothing.
A widow gave her LAST meal to Elijah, expecting to die afterward. Instead, her flour and oil NEVER RAN OUT for years—she gave everything and ended up with CONTINUOUS SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY that sustained her through a famine.
I REFUSE the lie that I wasted my years in ministry and have nothing left. IT IS WRITTEN that God RESTORES the years the locusts have eaten—what I poured out is not lost. The widow gave her last meal and received CONTINUOUS SUPPLY for years. IT IS WRITTEN that those who give up houses or family for Jesus receive a HUNDREDFOLD return. The BARAK blessing means I am blessed coming in and going out—my future is not depleted by my past obedience. I step into SUPERNATURAL RESTORATION of everything the enemy says I lost. My emptiness is the setup for God's abundance.
The Father isn't tallying what you gave up—He's preparing the HUNDREDFOLD return. He's not a taker; He's the Father who sees your empty jar and says, 'Watch this—I'm about to fill it until it overflows and you have MORE than you started with.'
