"I don't deserve this success because I didn't work as hard as others think I did."
How it sounds in your head: They think I studied for hours but I crammed last minute. They think I practiced constantly but I winged it. If they knew how little effort it actually took me, they'd know I don't deserve the recognition.
"And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work."
-- Romans 11:6Religious merit system imported into achievement—the lie that blessing must be earned through observable labor.
Culture worships hustle and visible grind, so when something comes easier to her, shame says it doesn't count. She's been taught value equals visible effort, so natural gifting feels like cheating.
God offered Solomon anything he wanted. Solomon asked for wisdom, and God gave him not only wisdom but ALSO riches, honor, and long life—things he didn't even ask for. He didn't earn the extras through labor; God ADDED THEM because of His generosity.
The Father doesn't measure your worthiness by how hard you grind—He measures it by the finished work of Jesus. Like Solomon received exceeding abundantly above what he asked because of God's nature, you receive breakthrough not proportional to your effort but proportional to HIS GOODNESS.
