"I can't trust my own judgment anymore; I made a catastrophic decision."
How it sounds in your head: I was so sure this was the right move. I researched, prayed, planned. And I was completely wrong. How can I trust myself to make any major decision now? What if I'm just blind to my own poor judgment?
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."
-- John 10:27Enemy assignment to paralyze future decisions by magnifying one outcome, denying the Holy Spirit's leadership and God's promise to direct steps.
The business failure is tangible proof that her discernment was off, and the consequences are severe enough to make her question every future decision with second-guessing paralysis.
Peter heard Jesus say 'Come,' stepped out in faith, walked on water, then saw the wind and SANK. Jesus didn't rebuke his hearing; He caught him, saved him, and later gave him the keys to the kingdom—one failure didn't disqualify his discernment.
I REFUSE the lie that one business failure disqualifies my ability to hear God or trust my judgment. IT IS WRITTEN My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. Peter SANK on the water but still received the keys to the kingdom. The Holy Spirit within me leads me into all truth, and one outcome doesn't override His presence. IT IS WRITTEN the Lord will instruct me and teach me in the way I should go; He will guide me with His eye. I am NOT disqualified from divine direction. I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing includes WISDOM and GUIDANCE, not condemnation and paralysis.
The Father isn't waiting for you to prove you can make better decisions before He trusts you again—He's the Good Shepherd who LEADS you beside still waters even when you've stumbled. He doesn't hand you a map and wish you luck; He GOES WITH YOU, and even missteps are part of His sovereign plan.
