"I can't trust God with relationships because He didn't protect my parents' marriage."
How it sounds in your head: They prayed. They were Christians. It still fell apart. If God didn't come through for them, why would He come through for you? Better to just manage relationships yourself than trust a God who lets marriages die.
"Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."

You watched them try. You heard the prayers. You saw the church involvement. None of it stopped the divorce, so clearly God either can't or won't protect relationships.
Job lost EVERYTHING - children dead, wealth gone, health destroyed, wife told him to curse God and die. He had every reason to never trust God again. God restored DOUBLE everything he lost - instant reversal when Job prayed for his accusers.
I REFUSE the lie that God is untrustworthy with my relationships. IT IS WRITTEN that His compassions never fail and His faithfulness is GREAT. My parents' divorce does NOT prove God's failure - the enemy came to steal, kill, destroy, but Jesus came to give ABUNDANT LIFE. IT IS WRITTEN that all things work together for GOOD. Job lost everything and God restored DOUBLE. I TRUST the Father with my future relationships because He is FAITHFUL, even when circumstances scream otherwise. The BARAK blessing covers my relational future.
The Father is grieving the divorce with you, not causing it. He's not the one who walked away - He's the one running toward the wreckage with restoration, proving His faithfulness in the ruins.
