"I can't be fully accepted in church as a divorced man at this age."

How it sounds in your head: I see how church treats divorced people, especially men. They smile politely but I'm disqualified from leadership, teaching, maybe even communion in some places. At 90, this final season should be surrounded by spiritual family, but I'm on the outside.

John 6:37

"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out."

-- John 6:37
Enemy whispers: Church won't fully accept you because you're divorced. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: John 6:37 - 'The one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.' Jesus accepts you completely, fully, permanently. If a church treats you as second-class, they're wrong, not you. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 15:7 to 'receive one another, just as Christ also received us.' You are not disqualified from God's family, presence, or purpose. Any rejection from man doesn't change your acceptance with God.
Quick Truth: LIE: Church won't accept me. TRUTH: Jesus never casts you out; you're fully accepted (John 6:37)

Source: Religious system creating hierarchy of sin and acceptance, contradicting Jesus who ate with tax collectors, prostitutes, and those religious leaders rejected.

Why this feels true:

He's experienced real church rejection or subtle marginalization. He's watched divorced men get quietly removed from leadership or treated as spiritually suspect, and at his age, he doesn't have energy to fight the stigma.

Joshua 2; Matthew 1:5
Rahab

Rahab was a prostitute—sexually immoral, Gentile, enemy of Israel. God didn't put her through probation or second-class status. She was instantly brought into the covenant community and became the great-great-grandmother of King David and ancestor of Jesus.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that church rejection defines my acceptance with God. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus will by no means cast me out. I am not a second-class citizen in God's kingdom—I am a BELOVED SON with full rights, full access, full inheritance. IT IS WRITTEN in Ephesians 2:19 I am no longer a stranger or foreigner but a fellow citizen with the saints and member of God's household. Religious systems may categorize and reject, but my Father runs toward me with open arms. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, not in a spiritual waiting room for the divorced.

But God actually:

Your Father doesn't see marital status when He looks at you; He sees His beloved son clothed in Jesus. If earthly church doesn't reflect that, their vision is blurred, but His vision of you is crystal clear: fully accepted, fully loved, fully qualified by blood.
