"I can never remarry. God won't bless a second marriage after divorce."
How it sounds in your head: I hear 'adultery' every time I think about dating again. Some days loneliness crushes me, but I believe wanting companionship is selfish. Maybe lifelong singleness is my penance.
"But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace."

Well-meaning Christians quoted 'adultery' verses, and her own shame agrees. She can't imagine God celebrating a second wedding after the first one failed.
God commanded Hosea to remarry Gomer after her adultery and abandonment, making it a prophetic picture. If God ordained a remarriage after betrayal as a picture of His love, He doesn't condemn your second chance at covenant.
I REFUSE the lie that remarriage is adultery or second-class. IT IS WRITTEN that I am not under bondage but called to peace. IT IS WRITTEN that God commanded Hosea to remarry as a picture of restoration. I am FREE—fully righteous, fully released, fully able to receive covenant love again. If I desire remarriage, God celebrates that desire and will bring the right person in His perfect timing, starting NOW.
The Father isn't frowning at your desire for companionship—He invented marriage as a GIFT. He's already preparing something beautiful if that's your path, and He's celebrating your freedom either way.
