Nightmares feel spiritually charged, and the enemy whispers that each one is evidence of demonic presence invited decades ago. The fear creates more anxiety, which creates more nightmares, creating a feedback loop of 'proof.'
This man had just been guarding Paul and Silas in the inner prison, enforcing Rome's oppression of Christians, participating in a system of idolatry and false gods. The Holy Spirit is my ONLY guide, and He keeps me in PERFECT PEACE. I sleep in SAFETY. I am FREE.
The Father isn't letting nightmares punish you for New Age exploration—He's singing over you while you sleep, keeping you in safety. He's not tracking your 'spirit guide' request; He's being your ACTUAL guide and giving you rest.
