"Her success means there's less opportunity for me—we're competing for the same limited space."
How it sounds in your head: She made the team, got the lead role, won the award. Now there's no room for me. If she's winning, I must be losing. There's only so much success to go around, and she's taking it all.
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
-- Ephesians 3:20World system + scarcity mindset—teaching competition instead of collaboration, making you believe blessings are limited and someone else's win is your loss.
Teams have limited spots. Leads go to one person. Awards have one winner. External systems ARE often limited, so it feels true that her gain is your loss. Scarcity is real in the world, so you assume it's real in God's economy too.
A widow had nothing but one jar of oil and massive debt. God didn't give her a payment plan or put her on a waitlist. He MULTIPLIED the oil to fill every vessel she could find—limited only by her containers, not His supply.
I REFUSE the lie that her success limits mine. IT IS WRITTEN that God is able to do EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY above all I can ask or think. His resources don't run out. Her opportunity doesn't close my door. God isn't rationing blessings like there's a shortage. He's ABUNDANT. IT IS WRITTEN that He opens doors no man can shut—my doors are opened by GOD, not closed by her success. The BARAK blessing on my life isn't competing with the blessing on hers. There is no scarcity in the Kingdom. I am blessed in my own lane with abundance that doesn't depend on her losing.
Father sees her winning and you feeling left out, and He's running toward you saying, 'I have something DIFFERENT for you, not LESS—something that fits YOUR hands, YOUR calling, prepared specifically for YOU.'
