"Her parents buy her everything she wants and mine always say no."
How it sounds in your head: Every time I ask for something I hear 'we can't afford it' or 'maybe for your birthday' but she just gets things whenever. Her parents must love her more or God must bless them more. I feel like I don't matter.
"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"
-- Romans 8:32Enemy using parental decisions to make her question her worth and God's provision for her specifically.
She experiences repeated no's while watching someone else experience repeated yes's. The pattern feels like proof that she's less valued and less provided for by both her parents and God.
A family ran out of wine at a wedding—total embarrassment and they had no money to fix it. Jesus didn't give them a budget plan—He turned water into 180 gallons of the FINEST wine instantly, better than what they'd served first, provision appearing from nowhere in moments.
I REFUSE the lie that my parents' no means God's no or that what she gets determines what I receive. IT IS WRITTEN that God freely gives me all things because He already gave me Jesus—if He gave me His Son, nothing else is held back. I am Abraham's seed, blessed in the city and in the field, and the BARAK on my life isn't measured by what my parents can afford right now. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 4:19 that my God supplies ALL my need according to HIS riches. My value isn't determined by what gets purchased for me—I'm already wearing the robe and ring of sonship.
The Father isn't saying no to you—He's running toward you with EVERYTHING, and sometimes His provision comes in ways you're not expecting at times you're not planning. He gave you JESUS; He's not withholding Target trips because He's stingy but because He has something BETTER in mind.
