"Her clothes, her phone, her life - she has everything I want and can't have"
How it sounds in your head: She has the new iPhone, the name brands, the trips, the stuff. You wear hand-me-downs and hear 'we can't afford it' on repeat. The gap between her life and yours feels like proof that some people get abundance and you get scraps. You're on the outside of the good life looking in.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Enemy using stuff to measure blessing, erasing the God who owns cattle on a thousand hills.
You can see what she has and what you don't. Material things are visible, tangible proof that feels like evidence of who's blessed and who's not.
She was down to her LAST MEAL - one handful of flour, drop of oil, then starvation for her and her son. Elijah said give it to me first. She obeyed and the flour and oil NEVER RAN OUT for three years. One act of obedience, instant unlimited supply.
I REFUSE the lie that her stuff proves blessing and my lack proves cursing. IT IS WRITTEN that my God shall supply ALL my need according to HIS riches in glory - not my parents' paycheck, HIS INFINITE SUPPLY. IT IS WRITTEN that He owns the cattle on a thousand hills - if I need it, He has it. The BARAK blessing commands blessing on my storehouses - not when I get rich, but NOW. Christ redeemed me from the curse of poverty and placed me under the blessing of abundance. I am not stuck. I am not forgotten. I am not on scraps. I am the daughter of the King who owns it all, and what I need is already commanded to come.
The Father doesn't measure His blessing by what's in your closet - He measures it by the cross, and that payment bought you ACCESS to everything He owns. He's not comparing your phone to hers; He's preparing provision you can't see yet, commanded to arrive at the exact right moment.
