"God will heal me instantly if I just have enough faith, so medication is settling."
How it sounds in your head: Miracles happen when faith is strong enough. If I take medication, I'm giving up on the instant breakthrough and settling for second-best. Real faith doesn't need backup plans.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Religion weaponizes instant breakthrough teaching to create shame around practical wisdom.
You've seen genuine instant healings and want that testimony. Taking medicine feels like admitting you don't have mountain-moving faith. You want to be the guy with the radical miracle story.
Naaman expected instant dramatic healing but was told to dip seven times in the Jordan River - a process using natural means. He almost missed his healing by demanding the method he wanted. He received complete healing by obeying the prescribed method.
I REFUSE the lie that medication means settling. IT IS WRITTEN that God supplies my need according to HIS riches, not my faith performance. He chooses the method - instant miracle, medicine, or both - and ALL are His supply. Naaman got complete healing through a process, not instant touch. IT IS WRITTEN: Every good gift comes from the Father. Medicine IS a good gift. I am the blessed of Abraham, receiving provision however my Father chooses to deliver it. Instant or gradual, miraculous or medical - it's ALL His blessing.
Your Father is running toward you with healing in WHATEVER FORM you'll receive it, celebrating that you're willing to be well - not grading the method. He's not holding back the instant miracle because you took medicine. He's pouring out provision through every avenue!
