"God is withholding breakthrough until I prove I can handle money better this time."
How it sounds in your head: You had it before and blew it. God's not going to give you more until you prove you've learned to manage it. Show Him faithful stewardship, then maybe He'll trust you with increase. You're on financial probation.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
-- Romans 5:8Religion makes God's blessing conditional on proven stewardship; treats provision like parole.
There's a verse about faithful in little, much in much. It seems logical God would test your responsibility before releasing more.
He came home having proven NOTHING except he could waste everything. Father restored his authority (ring), identity (robe), and sonship (sandals) IMMEDIATELY—before any demonstration of responsibility. Then threw a party with the fattened calf. Zero probation period.
I REFUSE the lie that God is withholding until I prove I can handle money. IT IS WRITTEN: While I was YET a sinner, Christ died for me—not after I proved myself. The prodigal got full restoration BEFORE he demonstrated responsibility. I am blessed with ALL spiritual blessings IN CHRIST—past tense, already done. IT IS WRITTEN: I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK doesn't operate on probation. My Father RUNS toward me with provision, not because I've managed well, but because I'm His SON. Breakthrough is mine NOW.
Your Father isn't watching to see if you can handle money better before He blesses you. He gave the prodigal everything back before a single wise decision. He's ready to pour out abundance now—not because you've proven yourself, but because His nature is generosity and you're His beloved son.
