"God is using my PCOS and infertility to prepare me for motherhood."
How it sounds in your head: You're only 22 but already can't regulate cycles. Friends say 'God is teaching you to trust Him before giving you kids.' Maybe you're too immature for motherhood and this physical issue reflects spiritual unreadiness.
"No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days."
-- Exodus 23:26Religion connects physical barrenness to spiritual deficiency, making women feel punished or not-yet-qualified for God's blessing.
You're young and unmarried, so it feels presumptuous to want healing for fertility issues now. The waiting feels like preparation time God orchestrated.
Woman had no child and husband was old. Elisha prophesied she'd hold a son by next year - she did, with NO preparation period, NO proving herself ready, just prophet's word and God's immediate power.
I REFUSE the lie that PCOS is God's preparation program for motherhood. IT IS WRITTEN: Exodus 23:26 - no one shall be barren in my land. My body is covenant land where barrenness has NO PLACE. IT IS WRITTEN: Galatians 3:13-14 - Christ redeemed me from the curse so Abraham's BLESSING could come on me. The barak included 'your basket and your kneading bowl blessed' (Deuteronomy 28:5) - my womb is blessed, not broken. Even when Abraham and Sarah were past physical ability, the blessing OVERRODE natural impossibility (Romans 4:19-21). My cycles regulate NOW, hormones balance NOW, reproductive system functions as Father designed NOW. I don't wait for maturity to receive healing - the thief on the cross received paradise with zero preparation. My body is healed because Jesus was broken. Fertility is my inheritance.
Father isn't making you prove readiness before fixing your hormones - He gave the Shunammite woman a son with no prerequisites, just because prophet spoke it. Your womb is blessed by covenant, not by performance.
