How it sounds in your head: You see moral collapse everywhere and believe God's judgment is falling on the nation, and you're collateral damage. You worked hard, served faithfully, but you'll suffer because of others' sin. Judgment is corporate and you can't escape it.

Cultural decay is undeniable and you were taught that God judges nations including the righteous within them. Sodom and Gomorrah imagery haunts you.
When God judged Sodom, angels physically grabbed Lot and his family and evacuated them BEFORE fire fell, saying 'I cannot do anything till thou be come thither'—God's judgment was DELAYED by one righteous man's presence.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm collateral damage in national judgment. IT IS WRITTEN the Judge of all the earth does right—He rescued Lot before Sodom burned, Noah before the flood, Rahab before Jericho fell. I am not swept away with the wicked; I am DISTINGUISHED as His own. The BARAK blessing of Abraham is on me—the same blessing that caused Pharaoh and Abimelech to be PLAGUED for touching Abraham, protecting him even when HE was the liar. IT IS WRITTEN a thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall not come NEAR me. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I am not defined by my nation's sin—I am defined by Christ's righteousness. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am hidden in Christ, seated in heavenly places, untouchable by corporate judgments.
Your Father doesn't lump you in with national sin and shrug 'collateral damage.' He DISTINGUISHES His own, protects His covenant children, and evacuates before fire falls. He's running toward you with a FORCE FIELD, not a pink slip.
