"God doesn't actually need my small allowance, it doesn't make a difference"

How it sounds in your head: What's my $5 going to do? The church has adults with real money. My little bit is basically nothing - why would God care about my allowance when there are people giving hundreds?

Mark 12:43-44

"So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.'"

-- Mark 12:43-44
Enemy whispers: Your little bit doesn't matter to God. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Mark 12:43-44 - Jesus said the widow's two mites (about 1 cent) was MORE than all the rich people's large gifts combined. He doesn't measure by amount but by HEART. The boy's 5 loaves and 2 fish were 'nothing' among 5,000 - but Jesus took that insignificant lunch and fed EVERYONE with 12 baskets left over. IT IS WRITTEN in 2 Corinthians 8:12, 'if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, NOT according to what he does not have.' God doesn't need your money - He's watching to see who trusts Him with the little, because that's who He can trust with MUCH (Luke 16:10).
Quick Truth: LIE: My small amount doesn't matter. TRUTH: Jesus said widow's 2 cents was MORE than all rich gifts - Mark 12:43

Why this feels true:

She can do math and see that her $5 is tiny compared to adult giving. It feels more logical to save it for something 'useful' than throw it into a sea of bigger offerings where it disappears.

John 6:5-13
Boy with loaves and fish

A boy brought 5 small loaves and 2 fish to Jesus when 5,000 men needed feeding - his lunch was laughably inadequate, Andrew even said 'what are they among so many?' But Jesus took that NOTHING offering, blessed it, and it multiplied to feed EVERYONE with 12 baskets of leftovers, INSTANT abundance from insignificant seed.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my offering is too small to matter! IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus said the widow's two cents was MORE than all the rich gifts - He measures my heart, not my amount. The boy's lunch was nothing among 5,000 but became INSTANT abundance when Jesus touched it. My $5 in God's hands can do more than $500 in mine! I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing isn't about the size of my seed but the size of my God. IT IS WRITTEN that if I'm willing, it's accepted according to what I HAVE, not what I lack. I'm not too young, too small, or too broke - I'm a generous daughter with a multiplying Father!

But God actually:

The Father isn't measuring your offering against adults' - He's celebrating that at 10 years old you're learning His economy, trusting Him with what you have. He sees your $5 and sees FAITH that unlocks His provision, a heart He can pour MORE through because you didn't despise the day of small beginnings.
