"God didn't bring me someone in all these years—why would He start now?"
How it sounds in your head: You've prayed for decades. You've believed, hoped, trusted, and watched the years pass with no answer. It feels like God forgot your request, or worse, denied it on purpose. If He was going to do something, wouldn't He have done it by now?
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
-- Habakkuk 2:3Religious teaching that God's silence equals God's 'no' and that timing negates promises.
The math is brutal—decades of unanswered prayer feel like evidence of rejection. Every birthday without a breakthrough reinforces the narrative that God said no, and you just didn't get the memo.
Abraham waited 25 YEARS for the promise of Isaac—from age 75 to 100—and Sarah from 65 to 90. When it looked impossible, when bodies were 'as good as dead' (Romans 4:19), God STILL brought the promise—because His timing isn't ours, and late is not never.
I REFUSE the lie that delay means denial or that God's silence equals God's 'no.' IT IS WRITTEN that the vision is for an appointed time and will SURELY come—it will NOT lie. I am not forgotten, overlooked, or rejected. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 49:15-16 that even if a mother forgets her nursing child, God will NOT forget me—I am engraved on the palms of His hands. My years of waiting are not evidence of abandonment but preparation for a testimony. I am under the Abrahamic blessing, which means God's promises to me are YES and AMEN, not 'maybe' or 'too late.' The Father is running toward me with the answer, and my breakthrough is not conditional on how long I've waited but on His faithfulness.
The Father hasn't been ignoring your prayers—He's been orchestrating details you can't see, aligning people and timing for a breakthrough that will make the wait make sense. He doesn't operate on the world's deadline; He operates on the 'appointed time,' and that time is still coming because HIS WORD WILL NOT LIE.
