"God could heal me but chooses not to, so He must not care."
How it sounds in your head: You've seen Him heal others. You've prayed, believed, waited. He could speak the word and change everything, but He doesn't. What does that say about how He feels about you?
"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"
-- Romans 8:32Source: Enemy accusation against God's character, using unexplained suffering to question His love instead of His sovereignty and unseen purposes.
The silence feels like rejection. Other people's testimonies feel like evidence of favoritism. You're left wondering what makes you different, what makes you unworthy of the miracle.
When Lazarus was sick, Jesus STAYED where He was two more days, letting Lazarus DIE. It looked like Jesus didn't care. But Jesus delayed on PURPOSE so He could demonstrate something GREATER than healing—resurrection power that brought glory to God.
I REFUSE the lie that unanswered prayer means God doesn't care. IT IS WRITTEN that He gave His own SON for me—that's the proof of love, not whether He heals on my timeline. Romans 8:38-39 declares NOTHING can separate me from His love—not disability, not delay, not silence. Jesus let Lazarus DIE so He could do something GREATER. IT IS WRITTEN in Jeremiah 29:11 that His plans for me are good, to give me a future and a HOPE—even if I don't understand the path. I am Abraham's seed, covered by the BARAK blessing. God's love isn't measured by circumstances but proven by the cross. He cares.
The Father isn't indifferent—He's weeping with you, holding purposes you can't yet see. Delayed isn't denied. The son who spent everything on prostitutes wasn't rejected—he was WAITED for, WATCHED for, RUN to the moment he appeared. You're seen, loved, held.
