"God can't trust me with wealth after I mishandled what I had."
How it sounds in your head: You proved you're not a good steward. God gives wealth to the faithful and you blew it. He won't give you another chance until you prove yourself with less. You disqualified yourself from financial blessing.
"For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."
-- Romans 11:29Religious teaching on stewardship twisted into performance-based provision, contradicting grace.
Stewardship parables emphasize faithfulness with little before getting much. You genuinely mismanaged funds. Church teaching says God tests you with small things first. The loss feels like proof you failed the test.
Demanded his inheritance early, blew EVERY PENNY on prostitutes and wild living—the worst steward imaginable. Came home broke and broken. The Father gave him the RING (authority), ROBE (identity), SANDALS (sonship), and FEAST (celebration) IMMEDIATELY. No probation period.
I REFUSE the lie that God can't trust me with wealth after financial failure. IT IS WRITTEN the gifts and calling of God are IRREVOCABLE—He doesn't take back blessing based on performance. God is not a man that He should lie or change His mind about me. IT IS WRITTEN in 2 Corinthians 9:8 - 'God is ABLE to make all grace ABOUND toward me, that I, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.' Not 'will be able when I prove myself'—IS ABLE, now. The prodigal failed every stewardship test and got the ring of authority anyway. I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK stands regardless of my track record. I receive wealth as a GIFT, not a grade.
The Father sees religious voices telling you to earn back His trust and He's FURIOUS at the lie. He's running toward you with the ring of authority saying 'You're my SON—sons don't earn, they RECEIVE.' He's restoring what the enemy stole and adding MORE, because that's who He is.
