"God can't bless me financially because I still struggle with money as an idol"
How it sounds in your head: You know you love security too much. You still worry about money, check your accounts obsessively, find your worth in net worth. Until you conquer this idol, God won't release financial blessing because it would just feed the problem.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
-- Romans 5:8Religion's lie that blessing is withheld until you achieve purity of motive, making provision conditional on internal perfection.
You DO think about money a lot. You DO find security in it. Preachers say you can't serve God and money. It seems logical that God would withhold financial blessing until your heart is completely pure toward it, otherwise He'd be strengthening your weakness.
Jacob was literally named 'deceiver,' spent his life scheming and manipulating for advantage, yet God blessed him massively WHILE he was still operating in those patterns. God renamed him Israel while he still wrestled, proving blessing precedes character perfection.
I REFUSE the lie that imperfect motives block God's blessing. IT IS WRITTEN that while I was STILL A SINNER, Christ died for me. God blessed Jacob the deceiver, Abraham the idolater, and the prodigal who wasted everything. The BARAK blessing flows through COVENANT, not character perfection. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed in my storehouses and the Lord COMMANDS blessing on all I set my hand to—not after I'm pure, but BECAUSE I'm His. Grace means blessing flows WHILE I'm being transformed. I receive financial abundance that reveals my Father's goodness and transforms my heart.
Your Father doesn't withhold blessing until you stop caring about money—He pours out blessing to SHOW you He's better than money, to prove His goodness, to transform your worship through kindness not withholding. He blessed Jacob WHILE he was a schemer, and the goodness led to transformation, not the other way around.
