"God blessed me despite my background, but I was never quite as worthy as those born into faith."
How it sounds in your head: You came to Jesus late, from a different culture, a different world. The people who grew up in church seem to have a head start, a deeper access. You're grateful for the grace, but you've always felt like a second-class citizen in God's kingdom.
"But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ."
-- Ephesians 2:13Religion: Created hierarchies in the body of Christ based on heritage, seniority, or cultural proximity to Western Christianity.
You felt it in the church dynamics, the way certain voices carried more weight. You were welcomed, but never quite central. The subtle message was clear: you're IN, but you're not FULL IN.
This man had zero religious pedigree, zero Bible knowledge, zero baptism, zero discipleship. He believed for approximately ten minutes before dying. Jesus said, 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise'—same destination as the apostles who walked with Him for three years.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm a lesser Christian because of my background. IT IS WRITTEN that I have been brought NEAR by the blood of Christ—not to the periphery, to the CENTER. I am a co-heir with Christ, seated with Him in heavenly places, chosen before the foundation of the world. My salvation is not second-tier; it's COMPLETE. IT IS WRITTEN that there is neither Jew nor Greek in Christ—no hierarchies, no levels, no classes. I declare: I am FULLY His, FULLY loved, FULLY welcomed, and I'm walking through Heaven's gates with the SAME ACCESS as every saint who ever lived.
The Father has never once compared you to anyone else or wished your story started differently. The moment you became His, you became FULLY His—no probation, no earning your way to the inner circle. You've been in the center of His heart from day one.
