"God abandoned me when I needed Him most at the end of my life."
How it sounds in your head: I prayed, I believed, I trusted—and this is what I get? Job loss when I'm almost dead? Where is He? Why didn't He come through? He forgot about me.
"He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"
-- Hebrews 13:5Enemy attack on God's character and faithfulness; trauma from unanswered prayers and unmet expectations.
She's facing the most vulnerable season with the least resources. It feels like divine abandonment when she needed protection most.
Enoch walked with God for 300 years, and 'he was not, for God took him'—he never died because God brought him home DIRECTLY. His entire life was friendship with God that never faded, only intensified, culminating in God refusing to let him taste death.
I REFUSE the lie that God abandoned me at the end of my life. IT IS WRITTEN that He will NEVER leave me nor forsake me—NEVER means NEVER, regardless of my age or circumstances. Even to gray hairs He will CARRY me—He doesn't drop me when I'm weak. IT IS WRITTEN in Deuteronomy 31:8, 'The Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.' He goes BEFORE me into every unknown, including death itself. Enoch walked with God for 300 years and God loved him so much He refused to let him die. My Father is WITH me right now, carrying me, not abandoning me. The BARAK blessing doesn't expire with age—I am BLESSED coming in and going out, all the days of my life.
Your Father isn't distant, watching from afar. He's the Father running toward you, meeting you IN the mess, saying 'I'm HERE, I never left, I'm carrying you through this.' The thief on the cross got PARADISE in his last breath. That's how present He is.
